David Parrish I should be receiving my DnG tomorrow. How did you recommend seasoning it if at all??

No seasoning required. See the paper that came with mine below.

And it arrived a few moments ago! Unfortunately 1 kettle is over 400 miles away and the other is on a truck with my BGE headed to the same place (my home in Florida). It will be 2-3 weeks before I join them. Oh well, a little patience is in order.

Tx Aubie it was not! Wife is on a road trip. DnG safely in my tool stash. Box in the dumpster.
Steve B you are most welcome.

fuzzydaddy that's good. What the wife don't know can't hurt you. It's cool to see even those of you who help oversee us have to keep the MCS away from your better halves as well.

Very cool! Weird to see something I wrote over the weekend (OK I had help) show up on your dining table!

Mine arrived too I just realized this pan is will be perfect for making Paella on the Weber. It will be easy to control the heat because the pan can be moved around....Wow...cool...

You will just have to buy a 22 so can hold all the goodies Pit Boss is making (along with grill grates)!

Prob'ly hold out, get a 26 if I buy new. Got the lil' 18.5 offa CL for $30, with Weber cover an' chimley. I really couldn't resist, at that price. Be good for small cooks, chicken quarters, an' searin'... meanwhile, I'll keep on scannin' th' ads! 'tis the season'

Now is the time to be shopping CL for a 22". People are packing up their grills and deciding they "just didn't use it enough to justify storing for the winter" so you should find them cheap or even "you haul it, you can have it". I just looked at my local CL and saw a couple as "curb alerts".

When the movers were loading the truck today, my wife actually told them that if anything was damaged, it had better not be my bbq gear. True story.

No kettle. No problem. My kettles are in another state and I couldn't wait to use my DnG, so I used my stove burners on 3 to 4 (scale of 10). After browning these I added a little water, waited a few minutes, scraped with a spatula, and voila it's clean (last photo)!

If you really want to shine her up try oven cleaner. The gooey stuff you use on cold ovens... Works great!

Thanks for that tip! This is the only stainless steel "pan" I have and cleaning was a breeze.

Ok David Parrish , myself and I just had one heck of a heated argument among us about ordering the drip pan and custom GrillGrate. I ask the wife to step in and help me out but she said I'm on my own. So myself has defeated me again. The order has been placed for both.

Got mine today and was busted. My wife said I see you got something for the grill. Saw the ABC logo with the grill. Maybe we can get Pit Boss to offer a "plain wrapper"! 🙄

I would buy this just as a drip pan. Foil is great for keeping things clean, but I've had it shift around on a breezy day or when I'm running probes through the bottom vent and pulling on wires to get them situated.

The option of using it as a griddle is a major plus as well. I'm sold
