I got the notification today that mine are being shipped! Expected delivery on Monday!!!! Will be curious to hear how the install goes for you both before I tackle the 22” install. I know tin clips and cutting are in my install, but any other tips you can provide will be great!

Outside of trimming the vent, its very very easy. Since I'm throwing the old parts away, I cut the wire shelf off with my recip saw. That made getting that front leg off much easier, at least for me.
Its very simple, three brackets that attach to the bowl with three thumb screws.
Then the leg pieces go on, followed by the shelf.

Current line-up of cookers: Oklahoma Joe's Bronco Pro, Masterbuilt Gravity Series 1050, Blackstone ProSeries 4 Burner 36" griddle, Weber Performer Deluxe and Weber Smokey Joe.
Done!
Took me about 30 minutes. One tip: let the thumb screws that attach the leg brackets to the grill be the last thing you tighten down before adding the casters. Otherwise (and I know not to underestimate a determined fool) it's foolproof.
The whole thing is really good quality, right down to the little stainless steel wrench they give you to tighten the hardware. I wasn't prepared for how easily and smoothly it moves.Last edited by Steve R.; August 14, 2026, 11:06 PM.

Nope, here's my table, and I can use it with any of the smokers or grills on the patio, of which I have seven.Originally posted by Attjack View PostNeeds a performer table instead.
The only problem with this table, is it needs casters on all four legs to make it easier to maneuver.

I call this my Wonder Kettle. First kettle I bought about 15 years ago for $30 and it’s outstanding! I like this stand/cart so much better than the Weber three legged stand. It is usually used in pea gravel, so casters not needed and the plastic wheels roll great through the pea gravel. right now, a big ol storm is about to hit us, so pulled this under cover so it stays dry….hopefully.
But, sturdy stands are nice and I can’t wait for this cart to show up for the kettle!

If this just isn’t the best dang thing ever for a kettle! Simple install, especially with Uncle Bob suggesting tin clips to make the modification to the ash basket holder. That was easy peasy, just had to file down a few edges and then took a steel brush to each cut to smooth out. Then installed in just a few minutes! Washed the outside up a bit since I haven’t cleaned it in a while and then installed this cool touch damper handle! Pulling the kettle around over pavers and flagstone was no problem whatsoever! It rolls great and is much more stable!
Thank you all for posting about this cart! This was a great purchase and highly recommended if you move your kettle each time you cook.
And with the Weber Smart Ring installed still rolls just as well!
And the Total Control Cool touch Damper Handle

I have that same handle on my boy’s kettle. It works well. I want to upgrade the legs as well but they are out of stock again until mid-September.

LegoMySearwood does not surprise me that the Spider legs are already out of stock. I'm in two very large Facebook Kettle groups and many are buying these legs and posting pics. I'm sort've amazed that Weber has not done this type of upgrade. I can only guess they're trying to keep the Kettle as cheap as possible.

Received and installed my 26” cart last week. Did ribs on it today for the inaugural cook with its new “wheels”, and what a tremendous difference it’s made in my whole attitude towards this grill. It’s always felt somehow a little “cheap”, for lack of a better word, because of the flimsiness of the support legs. Like Sissy Spacek said in “Blast from the Past” upon seeing her new home, this is different. I really look forward to using it now, an awesome 26” grill that is finally complete!

The vent ring has to be modified for the legs to fit. But its not a major operation. Or Spider Grills sells a compatible vent ring for $44 .
The Venon is not required.

Tin snips, and six cuts to shave off a 1/4” on each side of metal where the leg supports are for the vent ring. That was all that is needed. Really easy. If you have further questions, let me know and I’ll take more pics or even walk you through what I did.
