FedEx says my Spider Legs are out for delivery. When they get here, I'm ready. In spite of the predicted temps of 104* today.

Most difficult part is done, that's getting the old legs off.

I got the notification today that mine are being shipped! Expected delivery on Monday!!!! Will be curious to hear how the install goes for you both before I tackle the 22” install. I know tin clips and cutting are in my install, but any other tips you can provide will be great!

Outside of trimming the vent, its very very easy. Since I'm throwing the old parts away, I cut the wire shelf off with my recip saw. That made getting that front leg off much easier, at least for me.

Its very simple, three brackets that attach to the bowl with three thumb screws.

Then the leg pieces go on, followed by the shelf.

And there it is. If patio not perfectly level, it would roll off on its on.

With the old legs, many times I've jabbed that front leg into my foot. And the little plastic cap came off years ago, so it was aluminum tubing scraping away skin.

    Good riddance.

    This is so much better.

Took me about 30 minutes. One tip: let the thumb screws that attach the leg brackets to the grill be the last thing you tighten down before adding the casters. Otherwise (and I know not to underestimate a determined fool) it's foolproof.

The whole thing is really good quality, right down to the little stainless steel wrench they give you to tighten the hardware. I wasn't prepared for how easily and smoothly it moves.

While i tend to agree as I like a work space, still a solid upgrade for longevity.

Nope, here's my table, and I can use it with any of the smokers or grills on the patio, of which I have seven.

The only problem with this table, is it needs casters on all four legs to make it easier to maneuver.

I call this my Wonder Kettle. First kettle I bought about 15 years ago for $30 and it’s outstanding! I like this stand/cart so much better than the Weber three legged stand. It is usually used in pea gravel, so casters not needed and the plastic wheels roll great through the pea gravel. right now, a big ol storm is about to hit us, so pulled this under cover so it stays dry….hopefully.

But, sturdy stands are nice and I can’t wait for this cart to show up for the kettle!
