Uh oh - another fancy pan.

Sounds like a winner, but a bit pricey. It will come with a 100 year guarantee...

The price was in HK$ at least on what that link took me to I would be very concerned about shipping costs as they are not guaranteed. Will the tariff be based on what your pay or what the company says they are worth? Who is this company, will they be around in 5 years? 10? 100 year warranty is a gamble.

The pan looks nice though, especially the no rivet design. My scanpans are still going strong a few years in with lots of abuse, but those rivets love when we make omelets

They have done over 50 Kickstarters. I don't know how many of them were successful...

RonB more than a few have been funded.. but this is just some random HK business/factory. The product might be awesome, I just wouldn't expect much in terms of support. They are all over the place; electronics, card games, fashion, etc...

Sure are an awful lot of "last pan you'll ever buy"s out there huh. You'd think they'd stop with that overused trope by now. I hate common advertising techniques, I could never work in the field.

I do intend that the Made In stuff I have is the last cookware I own .... but that won't stop me from buying more LOL

I’ll wait until they end up at Marshall’s or Home Goods…… or not.

I can offer you a CI skillet that’s already lasted a hundred years and looks fine. It would be at a considerable savings too.

Carbon steel, cast iron, and stainless steel have been go to cookware for well over 100 years now and are the standard in all professional kitchens. I plan to stick with the tried and true :-)

And really, carbon steel woks in china and Japan have been in use for centuries, not decades :-)

I agree they are pretty. Still, I have a set of All-Clad stainless steel pans I bought back in the early 90s, when I first got out of training and had a little money. Still going strong, you'd never guess they are that old, I have the entire set so enough to do almost anything, they zip through the dishwasher, and they work well on my induction stove. Along with the various pieces of hand me down, and thrifting, cast iron, I think I'm also set.

I just picked up an All-Clad D3 12 inch skillet/fry pan, with lid, at TJ Maxx (basically a discount store for new goods}. $100.
It is my first good noncastiron pan. Have a bunch of Anolon aluminum otherwise, probably at least 25 years old

After watching all those videos and looking at those pictures, I think I've finally found a skillet that will allow me overcook my fried eggs.
