    Long Overdue

Seasoning the cast iron. I use the Crisbee Puck. All except the enamel Dutch Oven. Tomorrow it's the wood cutting boards. Again I've been negligent.
    Edit:
I should have noted its mineral oil and wood wax for the boards.

Love the crisbee puck. It did take me a bit to learn it just needs a little bit of it. I need to order another or two as mine is getting low.

Yea, at 1st I overdid it. I learned quickly. IMO it really makes a difference. I do lightly oil after a cook but this stuff is good and easy to apply.

            Thanks. It's enough for me.

I like the puck. As Michael_in_TX says, just a little bit!

Avocado oil then into the oven upside down to 550*F. Natural cool down, done.

You only need a small amount, just to make it shiny.

This is true. I've made the mistake of putting it on too thick. I still put aluminum foil underneath though. Just in case. Don't want the smoke detector to put the dog into a barking frenzy.

Yes Panhead John I have a cast iron flat, wrapped in alum foil, what drips off is not substantial.

Did mine about a month ago. Nothing like freshly seasoned cast iron.

These came up a few years ago. I looked at them on Amazon, but they were sold out at the time. Right now, I still have half a container of Blackstone.

I didn't name it. But if you want to maintain your cast iron cookers it's not to be ignored.

Do you have tops for the pans? I have a CI top that is more dorm like than flat.

Ad who are the manufacturers? Love age/history on pots/pans.

The 10" pan is also the top for the D.O. Other than that no cover. The enamel Dutch Oven does have a top. All are Lodge.

I got a couple of those Crisbee pucks, and have used one on my griddle a few times. Works well when the griddle is still slightly warm.
