You mean this? Perfect for egg in a bagel hole. Fried egg to go on a steak. Melting butter. I don't use it a lot but I do see it has applications.

I think it was the 3.5" version in the original post. Looked on the Lodge website and it said it's perfect for individual cookies or brownies.

I received a 6.5" and 8" Lodge skillets from my wife for Christmas, and I thought they were small! I also received the 10.5" griddle pan with the raised ridges, some cleaning tools like a chain mail scrubber, and some Cast Iron Oil from a place called Caron & Doucet. It seems to be vegetable oil in a bottle, main ingredient is coconut oil. Anyone have experience with this? I have a vintage large skillet (Wagner? It's at the bottom of the pan drawer right now) and it's perfectly seasoned, I don't think I want to use an unknown product to experiment on this pan.

Yeah, that stuff is fine. Not the best thing you can use, but it will certainly do the job. It will not hurt your vintage pan. When it comes down to it........it's just iron. Pretty dang tough!

We had several of those little 3.5 inch cast iron skillets come through the house a year or three back - they came with "cookie" dough for one little skillet cookie - some sort of gift bag give-away. Not sure what my wife did with them, but I saw no use myself for a 3.5" skillet, and she wasn't interested in baking 1 cookie at a time in little skillets....
