I recently bought that and the next size up sort of as a lark. Really meant for it to be a fun serving dish for something like mashed potatoes or drawn butter.

The only thing I have actually cooked in it is a little skillet cookie. I usually have some cookie dough balls in the freezer, so preheated the skillet briefly and then added one dough ball and stuck pan in the toaster oven for maybe 10 min and then topped with a spoonful of ice cream.

You can make something similar or like little Dutch babies or Yorkshire pudding, or a small cornbread

I have a No. 3 skilket that I bought by accident. I thought I got this great deal, and had to laugh when I received this small skillet. However, I have used it a lot. I can use it for a couple scrambled eggs, melt butter, or small amount of roux. It fits in the drawer with my pot holders. Bonus, it showed up at my house perfectly seasoned.

Single serve cobblers! You’ll need a few more of course!

I have a couple of these and I use them to serve my smoked Mac and Cheese. Warm them up, spoon in the mac and serve warm.

I bought a small cast iron pan recently. I put butter in it and place it into the smoker during a long cook. The smoked butter makes a nice compliment to whatever wonderful hunk of meat you're cooking.

Lodge actually casts a Christmas version of this pan. I got a bunch of them and made them into Christmas ornaments. They are really cool. They can be a bit tough to hang because of the weight, but you can always find a strong branch on the tree for it.

I have the one pictured here in my hunting pac. I have one even smaller though. In the one in my pack, I can sear up a piece of backstrap, fry an egg, toast a single English muffin, cook a single chicken thigh, one small chop, a tuna or salmon patty, 2 doves worth of dove breast, a pair of squirrel quarters or saddle, small pancakes, a single smashburger, or a hoe cake/cornbread pone.

Room service on a cruise ship brought us wings in this one. I wish I had some mini cast iron.

That would probably be great for French onion soup!

A restaurant in Northern NJ used these to make single serving warm chocolate chip cookies for dessert. They'd include 2 or 3 if I remember correctly.

Now that is a good call. Few things are better in this world than warm chocolate chip cookies.
