Is SurveyMonkey conducting a survey soliciting Pitmaster input regarding AR or is it Spam? I just received it today.

It's legit. It's from us, we just use Survey Monkey to do the survey so it might look it's from them. -

Just found the email in my junk folder. Probably legit, but preferably the Pit marketing team would post a warning here that an email survey is being sent. I will not open it until there is confirmation here.Comment

Also ended up in my spam folder.....SPF, DKIM, DMARC all pass. Google can be quite aggressive on things. I did notice the From and Reply-To domains don't match and that might have been it.Comment

Looking closer, I think I know what it may be and it is something we've been fighting with at the University with our various surveys. If enough bad actors sends out spammy emails from SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Constant Contact, what-have-you, Google distrusts any email sent from those platforms for a period of time, regardless of what organization it is representing. It is very annoying.
(We have Department of Education surveys by which we need to have a certain response rate or it may affect our federal funding. It's great fun.)
(I don't think it is volume. In my experience, if Google or other email providers block on volume, the emails are just rejected outright; they aren't delivered to users' mailboxes, not even the spam folder.)Comment
