Our lake house is in Brunswick VA, the birthplace of Brunswick Stew!

We usually get some from our local Fire and Rescue (Gasburg) and Littleton NC,Chamber of Commerce.

We have fund raisers in our area this time of year as well.

I made a similar recipe last winter, and used mixed veggies as well. For me, potato (cubed) and Lima beans seem traditional, being a Georgia/Alabama life long resident.

Wish I would be around for this, but fixing to be out of the country for a couple of weeks. Look forward to seeing what y’all come up with!

I went to a new local BBQ place, nearby, Pig Candy. Never been. Special of the day was Ruben. Got Kim one of those and also brought home a 3 meat platter w/1 side.
