Thanks mb but the problem is that i can't get any gallery photos to upload...says there too big. So i try the camera option where u snap a pic and it posts...no options tho
iPhone or Android? either way a smartphone is basically a pocket sized computer. I'd look for a photo editing app (apple app store or google play store) that allows for picture rotation, sizing and cropping and install it on your phone. I don't have experience with smartphone apps as I use a computer for photo editing so I can't recommend one. I do know there are multiple apps available for either phone. Look at the user reviews to get a feel for the apps usability and usefulness. Hope this helps a little...Good Luck in your search!!
@Juddlight..Just found this regarding S6 photo sizing. You should be able to set the size of your photos in-phone to a size that will upload to the forums. Just choose a smaller size than you're using now:
Access Galaxy S6 front camera settings.
Switch to front camera, tap gear icon (settings)
Now, in camera settings, you can find out what the settings are for the front camera.
Tap Picture size (front) to set Galaxy S6 photo size for the front camera.
The available picture sizes for Galaxy S6 front camera include:
David Parrish and Meathead - any chance the site could be enhanced to auto-rotate images after they are uploaded? Most phones embed EXIF information that can be used for this purpose. We use this in our apps at work, and I found a StackOverflow thread that discusses doing it in PHP:

Reason: I lied.
Hi, my name is Darrell. I'm an OTR truck driver for over 25 years. During my off time I love doing backyard cooks. I have a 48" Lang Deluxe smoker, Rec-Tec pellet smoker,1 Weber Genesis 330, 1 Weber Performer (blue), 2 Weber kettles (1 black and 1 Copper), 1 26" Weber kettle, a WSM, 8 Maverick Redi Chek thermometers, a PartyQ, 2 SnS, Grill Grates, Cast Iron grates, 1 ThermoPop (orange) and 2 ThermoPens (pink and orange) and planning on adding more cooking accessories. Now I have an Anova sous vide, the Dragon blower and 2 Chef alarms from Thermoworks.
Juddlight I had that problem with my iPhone and I edit the pics and made them square. They posted with no problems after I made the pic square. Or you can resized them to a smaller size.

It was explained to me that pics that show up sideways don't have orientation information. What I've found to work is to just make a quick edit to the pic and save it. That adds orientation info. The edit can be so subtle you don't even notice it.
David Parrish - I can see that a photo without orientation information would be a problem, but that's not the case with most of what I've seen on this site. Here's an example:
