Is there any way to do this? I know it’s easy enough to just skip over them but sometimes there are topics started that for whatever reason just don’t interest me, so having a way to hide them would be nice.

It wouldn't be a terrible feature to enable. I know some folks tolerate some of us knuckle heads and don't want to fully block us, but also don't want to see certain posts over and over in recent posts. Used to be able to a long time ago on vBulletin and myBB (I think it needed a plugin I forget it's been a hot minute)

99.9% of the time I use this site by looking through the recent posts. Most of the miscellaneous topics fall off after a week so it’s not really a big deal, but it would be nice to ignore things I have no intention of reading or contributing to.

Only because I know everyone depends on my approval so much and my disapproval could cause irreparable damage to one's psyche, I'd never call out any topics *cough, Cracker Barrel* that would immediately get the hidden treatment *cough, Taylor Swift*. Panhead John
