Today September 5……I’ve been getting “Server too busy” messages for several hours now. When I have been able to access The Pit, my comments are slow to post, if they do post at all. Also very slow to change pages. Can you please fix this ASAP? I don’t want to have to get off the couch and actually do something productive today. Thanks!

We sometimes get denial of service attacks where bad guys pound our servers with bogus requests. The good news is that we never see your credit cards nor do we store them. That is all handled by Stripe a massive highly secure credit card processor. In any case I asked raywjohnson our master of IT to take a look.

I’m texting with 3 or 4 other members and it’s out for everyone. It takes about 10 times to try and get something other than the “Server Too Busy” message. Trust me, it’s messed up!

I restarted my computer, cleared the cache and ran a clean cycle with a tune up program. Took 10 times to log back in. Forum not working on cell phone either.
