The pic is incredible and I am jealous. I love duck confit. When y’all see those little “edits”, all I am doing is embedding the picture your posts so it looks “cleaner” and consistent. I’m a formatting junkie 🤣

you see how right above your picture, it shows “attached file” and the picture has a little frame around it? I just simply embed the picture (it removes the frame and the text) and that’s it! If I were to truly edit any pictures that should be edited, this would be a full time job!

That frame/text thing happens if you drop photos into the "upload pix" area as usual, but then do not use the "insert" function. I'm demonstrating with two pics, both dropped into the upload box, and then one inserted and the other not. The inserted one formats properly, the non-inserted one gets appended as the "attached file".

I do this quite frequently to keep things looking clean on the forum. If you can, please click "insert" when you add pictures, especially on desktop.

I know it is a PITA when you are on mobile as the thread tends to jump around a lot. The text can get rearranged, like smokenoob 's photo above. But if you can, try to insert the pictures.

One of these days Shelia and the other mods are just going to have enough of my British spellings. (i.e. endeavour and towards)

I think that the only thing that keeps them at bay is that I put stuff in my car in a trunk, not a boot and when the power goes out in our inevitable hurricanes I grab a flashlight and not a torch. .

(Although not that I have a butane torch, that would be more fun......)

GolfGeezer. It is funny you mention that. I have a weird memory of being in kindergarten and us kids arguing with a teacher about what those particular things were called. Cookies won, of course.
