As I mouse over the washed out screen buttons (not using any mouse buttons), the screen buttons fill in properly as the mouse passes over each:

    I'm absolutely useless, sorry.

That is probably a CSS issue. Might be specific to Safari. I will see if I can fix it.

CSS: Cascading Style Sheets (for most UI, colors, etc).

I added extra CSS to possibly compensate for Safari. As suggested on StackOverflow.

Be sure to refresh your browsers cache (CMD+R) while viewing the site.

Otherwise your browsers may not pick up on the changed CSS.

FWIW, haven't seen this at all using Chrome and Win10.

I advise a deep clearing of the cache on the Safari browsers. I suspect it has some corruption or is failing to pull the newest version of the CSS. About 97% of issues with browsers displaying correctly is a cache issue.

raywjohnson I heard that! Always my first move, clear that cache...

The problem persists ... but only on Safari ... even after "deep cleaning" the cache. So far, I haven't been able to reproduce it in Firefox.

I'm using one of the new (maxed-out) M4 iMacs ... running the very latest OS version. I'm betting that the issue is just a result of needing to be on the bleeding edge (again ). If the next OS release/patch doesn't fix it, I'll let you know.
