    Must sign in every time.

    Suddenly I started being required to sign in every time I try to open the Pit on my iPad. I think this may have happened once before.

      I have had this issue for a month or so now. I had not seen anyone else mention it so thought it was just me. Glad to see it is now. A bit of a pain but worth it to see The Pit.

              raywjohnson I cleaned the cookies less than a week ago and it worked fine. Now it is asking me to sign in again.

                I checked your account cookie expiry date, it correctly matches your membership expiry. I can only guess that something on your browser is deleting the cookie. It could be a setting on the browser (delete cookies on close) or some plugin/add-on/extension that deletes cookies after a week. These would normally be ad blockers, tracking blockers, privacy, or similar extension. What browser are you using? What extensions are installed?

                  “Use in Private Browsing.” means that when you close the browser, all cookies are deleted. You can either never close the browser and never turn off the iPad. Or disable private browsing.

                  I fully understand what you are saying, but the mystery to me is why did it suddenly start doing this. Perhaps it is the desultory of a couple of recent OS updates. It has been quite a while ago, but a similar thing happened.
