Getting the '500 error'

This has happened a few times over the years, just dropping a report.

When I go to reply to a topic, I get a popup that says there was a problem and it says it's a "500 error" I think. Something like that. I have seen this in the past and know what happens, so I cancel the post, then go back out to the main "Recent Posts" page and see that it DID post, it just told me it didn't and gave an error.

Everything else seems to be working fine.

This was me. I made a change to a script and it has a bug.

I just got it. I’m going to log out, delete history/cookies for AR, and try again.

So this topic is not showing up for me in the 'Recent Posts' page. Strange. Had to navigate to the Bug Box forum to find it.

Also, some recent posts are not showing - not sure - Here's what I'm seeing on the recent posts page -



Shows Smoker_Boy has the most recent post on the topic... (it is showing as already viewed because I looked at it, but before I did so, it was bold red with the new posts icon that tells me there are unread new posts).

But when I go to the topic Smoker_Boy's post is nowhere to be found.



Not sure. Just adding more information as I go.


<eidt> And after posting this post, this topic DID show up on the Recent Posts page - I will say, this is not unusual - sometimes posts have seemed in the past to take a few minutes to show up - not usually 20 minutes like this time, but I don't know.

I've gotten that error box a couple times as well, but haven't scoured the recent list to see if anything is weird...

Even though it shows you made the last post, I don’t see this post in the topic. I can see it under your posts, and I can reply to it there, though.

I’m having the same problem for the last few weeks. It’s totally random for me, but when someone posts something new in a thread, it shows up under Recent Posts like it’s supposed to. Then, when I click on it to read the new post…..it’s not there! And it sometimes doesn’t show up for 30-45 minutes! I know that when someone does post something new it can take a minute or so to show up……but never 30-45 minutes. As I mentioned, it’s totally random but still irritating. What’s weird is someone can make a new “comment” and it shows up like it’s supposed to, but it’s an actual new “Post” that doesn’t show.

This just happened to me when I tried to post this.

Here’s an example of what’s happening……Smoker Boy made his latest post on this thread at 8:45 am.



15 minutes later at 9:00 am, clicking on his post, it still isn’t showing. Clicking on it takes me here…

Sometimes I can click on the member who made the last post and see their post there.
Or not...
