Amazon access through tiny url

For years I've accessed Amazon using tinyurl dot com\amazingribs that I got from the Pit or the main site. Now, when I try to use it, I get a page that wants me to verify that my connection is secure and to verify that I'm a human. Seems fishy, so I've just closed the site. Is this normal, or is something amiss? Is this tiny url still active?

I just tried my tinyurl shortcut and it seems very slow, to the point of not working. I got the same verification request, which I see a lot on many sites, and is common....but it keeps timing out before the verification checkbox shows up. Then it leads to an "Error 1016" page.

I don't suspect security issues, I suspect 'one of those passing web congestion things'. But alas, I am not a web security expert.

Probably legit. If tinyurl dot com is using cloudflare or some other protection system. I would need a screenshot of the verification page to be sure.

Yep. This is a cloudflare error screen. the error is with the tinyurl.com host. The tinyurl site or server was down.
