Weirdness on topic pages

Seems there is some kind of formatting problem today (1 May), I can't even post a screen shot because uploading images seems broken. Clearly some kind of malfunction... happening on both Chrome and Edge, latest versions. Huge amount of blank space at the top of each page, with the filter choices stretching all the way down the screen. Zooming out with the mousewheel just makes those things stretch even further... Help us Mister Wizard!
