Pit pop up ad hell

anyone else fall into this click hole hell when clicking on Goto the Pit?

shut down Chrome with all it serial pop ups...

Device/Browser/OS please and confirm you have tried on more than one device and browser. Helps us figure out if it's an end user issue (virus software, ad blockers, browser add ons, etc...) Thanks!

hp laptop/chrome/windows 10. only tried it on this lappy but it occurred on more than one occasion, thats what led to the post!

I just had the same issue. Dell optiplex 3010/chrome/Win10

I hard killed the puter and on start up I tried again. This time when I click "go to the pit" it puts out a popup in a new screen that can be closed.

Same issue with IE. I signed in the first time OK but then logged in again and it took me to the same blue hell that the OP described.

is the new MO of the The Pit to bring up a pop-up ad or tab or page when one enters? its been bringing up a page for FIMLON (i have no idea what it is) but just typically close it and move on. the blue clickhole had me trapped though.

this is an example of an ad that comes up when clicking "Go To the Pit" on AR.com click at your own risk but pass it to the IT guys... i hope its not this computer: its a work computer and AR.com is like the only site that isnt blocked, lol

Forwarded this to IT. Every now and again a bad ad gets loaded into our third party ad system. It's possible that's the issue. We're researching.

IE11 & Win7. Tried to go to the pit from the main site, and it popped up a screen to perform an update to Flash Player. Site was NOT Adobe.com. Tried to reproduce it but it didn't come up the second time.

No problems here. Windows 7, Firefox. Wouldn't use Windows 10 if you paid me....

You using AdBlock? This could help us narrow it down to being a bad ad some are getting if they have no AdBlock.
