So right now, topics are only 'bumped' to the top from recent activity if someone adds a new post.
But if someone adds a 'comment' to an older post, the topic doesn't get highlighter or bumped.
I don't know if this is changeable or not, it could be by design, maybe the administrators don't WANT posts bumped by ongoing conversation in the 'comments,' and only by new posts, but I find myself missing a lot of things because posts aren't bumped by comments.
In the comments many people carry on longish conversations, or add lots of helpful tips and hints, etc. New posts are much rarer, it seems to me, and so I have noticed this.
Maybe it's no big deal to anyone else, maybe it's by design, maybe it's not possible due to software limitations. I don't know.
Just a thought, just a suggestion. I primarily surf this site multiple times a day through the "Recent Posts" button, so I miss out on a lot of 'comments'.
