Server and site slowness issue after recent upgrades.

Yep. I did clear the cloudflare cache.

I just cleared all the open windows on my iPad and did a restart. It is faster but still slow.

Still slow for me. Haven't noticed any improvements over past few days since upgrade. MacBook Pro 2015, MacOS 12.6 (Monterey), 1GB fiber internet. iPad, 8th gen iPad, iOS 15.7.

The site is slightly slower after the upgrade (across all of my devices). The messages/inbox/notifications are very slow and sometimes do not open at all.

I don’t know if it helps or not but I have not experienced any slowness (using iPhone) until just now when I checked my notifications. I don’t usually check notifications because I get email notifications. I bookmarked recent posts and when I go there it loads quickly.

I think there might be some caching issues with your browsers. If the site is still slow for you, please try a hard refresh (CTRL+F5 / CMD+R) on any page.

I am clearing the CloudFlare cache and the vBulleting cache now.

Also, I did find one potential issue that might be the base reason for the slowness. But I have to reboot the server to fix it. I will reboot later tonight (after midnight pacific time).

Rats. I also have been getting slow page loads. I have cleared cache, etc. I will have to wait for the reboot to see if that fixes things.

Ok. Tweaked the performance and rebooted. I am only seeing a slight improvement. I will start looking over the site software. Maybe something there causing the slowness.

Yep. I did an external page speed test. about 2 to 3 seconds for the basic page load. That is a server issue. Even though the forum software is a bit bloated, the page loads should be under 1 second. I have more work to do!
