Subscribed to topic I've not seen yet

I'm not sure yet how many, if more than 1, but I definitely did not subscribe to a post made just yesterday. I haven't been on the forums for at least a few days. In my notifications, it said soanso and 16 others have posted on your subscription, "My New WSM". Did I subscribe to a channel/forum or something? Is that even possible?

I know how to unsubscribe . I am wondering how I got subbed to a thread created yesterday when I haven't been on the forums for days. I should have checked if one could follow an entire forum. When I noticed most of these posts were coming from the WSM thread/forum, I figured I had followed the forum at one time.
All is good! I just wanted to make sure my login here hadn't been hacked. Delete this if you wish
