Grills:
Weber 22" Kettle Premium w/Slow N' Sear 2.0
Pit Barrel Cooker
Grilla Grills Chimp
W.C. Bradley & Co. Char Kettle CK-115 ~1980s Vintage Grill (inactive)
Looks quite solid and stable. (And I am glad you got to cook something more than just green beans lol.)
Does one have to remove the cooking grate to push the coals under it?

Ace LOL...of course....(momentary lapse of reason there in forgetting how Santa Maria grates work!)

Actually, you lift the front slightly and it flips down. I liked it a lot.

BBQandLove I was wondering if the handle meant it did that.

I found this on "The Virtual Weber Bulletin Board".Originally posted by jayjordan View PostAny idea what the price is going to be on that? The Blackstone one is at $500.
The Weber site doesn't have any info listed at this time.
This info has not been confirmed...
"The Weber live-fire grill allows cooks to raise and lower food over flame, manage heat zones, and cook across multiple techniques in a single session. With expected availability in early 2027, it will have a 5-year limited warranty and be offered in two sizes, a base model with an expected retail price starting around $899 and a larger, premium model expected around $1299. For more information, visit weber.com."

Sorry, but I just can't see the justification of buying a Santa Maria style cooker unless you're firering it up for long continuous periods such as at an all day cookout or as a caterer or restaurant. The food pictured above could be cooked on my PK360 or my old Weber kettle with a couple of handfuls of Lump or a full chimney at the most! I'd love to get one, but it's just not practical! Darn!!!

RlsRls this is live fire cooking. Totally practical if you can convince yourself.

$899 for this one and $1,299 for the larger. Compared to the Blackstone, I think the Blackstone should be $399.Originally posted by jayjordan View PostAny idea what the price is going to be on that? The Blackstone one is at $500.
