Boys and Girls,
I am creeping into the Santa Maria community. Have a Breeo smokeless 24 inch fire pit with the older sear plate. Since Attjack posted about the Titan accessory for charcoal grills, bringing Santa Maria functionality to a charcoal kettle, I have wondered. Will it fit on a flat surface, when flange has to be flat on sear plate vs grill? Pictures unclear. Could I assemble the circular base flange upside down?
With stock market fluctuating thousands every day, this was only a 3 digit gamble. It works, no mods necessary to invert angle iron base flange.
Pictures forthcoming, after son in law assists this Luddite. This will be real live fire, have lots of apple and cherry, don't need no artificial charcoal.
Have not fired it up yet. Snow, ice, winter, are distracting. Did do a suckling pig last summer, on a Titan rotisserie, over fire pit. Impressive.
Merry Christmas all. I very much appreciate the civility and helpfulness of this group.
