    Must have bbq books

Besides Meatheads book, what would you consider must have books for bbq lovers/ smokers?

Since you are a Kamado cooker I would recommend The Kamado Smoker and Grill Cookbook by Chris Grove. What I like about it is that there are 52 lessons with a recipe in each that teaches you 52 different methods of cooking on a Kamado. When you finish all 52 you will fully understand the versatility of your Kamado.

The Food Lab is a must have. IMHO.Not just for BBQ, but for a much better understanding of how cooking works and why foods do what they do.

The Food Lab, Meathead's Book, and Alton Brown's original good eats series books are my go to for just about everything.

Any other recipe, I usually modify based on something I learned in these.

"The Food Lab" is your generations "On Food and Cooking: The Science and Lore of the Kitchen" - the classic by by Harold McGee.

      1. Peace Love and Barbecue by Mike Mills
      2. Big Bob Gibson’s by Chris Lilly
      3. Franklin Barbecue by Aaron Franklin

      -chili cookbooks
      -cast iron cooking
      -campfire cooking
      -griddle cooking

Salt Fat Heat Acid was also made into a Netflix series if you want to watch 3 hours of informative TV.

Nice call on SFAH. I sat through the Netflix series, but absolutely loved the book! I need to go back and re-read it soon.
