Since you are a Kamado cooker I would recommend The Kamado Smoker and Grill Cookbook by Chris Grove. What I like about it is that there are 52 lessons with a recipe in each that teaches you 52 different methods of cooking on a Kamado. When you finish all 52 you will fully understand the versatility of your Kamado.
Franklin Barbecue (A Meat Smokin Manifesto ) : Steven Raichlen (Project Smoke ) : Andy Husbands & Cris Hart (Pitmaster) : Tuffy Stone ( The Art Of Great Barbecue ) Mike Mills & Amy Mills (Praise The Lard ) .
These are a few books that I have gotten for Christmas , birthdays or fathers day .I still have to get Meatheads book .
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.
