Great new book tracing the history of barbecue specifically in Alabama. It includes the stories of many famous BBQ restaurants and their pitmasters. This is from the back cover:

A most interesting book mhwilk. If you are into history & BBQ, this belongs in your library. I have just skimmed it, looking at excerpts & of course lots of photos, mostly in back & white as they only could & should be. Also, as should be, Big Bob Gibson's & Chris Lilly are highlighted. Looks like it will be a great read.
