    Good Things by Samin Nosrat

I like to vary my walking, so today i decided to do the old creepy man walk around the mall. Unfortunately I began and ended at Barnes and Noble and this was prominently displayed. With the half off and some member points it was $20, and Salt Fat Acid Heat is a favorite, so i said what the heck.

ID:	1870862 Like I really needed this lol. Anyway, I think my quest for the rest of the year will be to cook something out of each of my cookbooks maybe weekly. SheilaAnn, I have successfully resisted Vitamina T so far, but i am fading fast lol

Following, Salt Fat Acid Heat has really influenced my cooking, really every homecook could do better by having that book, I have been eyeing this new one up.

SheilaAnn is a cookbook enabler for sure!

A mall? It's gotta be 15 plus years. There is one about 8 miles away. We're going on 11 years August 1st here in Western Massachusetts. I've never been in it. I do admit the anchor J.C. Penny, I've been in. But from the parking lot into the store. Many years ago our Friday night was mall walk, Natick Mall, Massachusetts. We were party animals.

I get tired of the treadmill at the gym, and if I don't walk early it gets too hot. It was 84 degrees this morning at 8AM. So maybe once every couple weeks I do the old man laps at the mall

When you can, please share what you think of this book. I saw some reviews that felt it wasn't as good as the first. I am currently slowly working my way through her first book, and it is great.

Mike981 at first glance i like it a lot. It is kind of like SFAH with recipes. There is a whole section - almost 100 pages - on seasonal produce broken down by season. She doesn't give step by step recipes in this section, only suggestions. There are pages with matrices with suggestions on how to put together dishes with produce by season. That section reminds me of SFAH. In other parts, there are tradionally written recipes. It is a big book, 451 pages including the intro and index.
