Vitamina T: Your Daily Dose of Tacos, Tortas, Tamales, and More Mexican Street Food Classics
New cookbook from the folks at Masienda! I was up well past bedtime reading; there are some things I had no idea about, such as tlacoyos. Never heard of them until now, let alone tasted them.

This looks interesting. Thanks for posting. I really would like to expand my Mexican / Latin repertoire beyond the usual taco / enchilada / quesadilla routine that we currently do.

Perhaps that will be the first thing to try when I get into the cookbook. Actually never heard of them so that will make it interesting. At least if I bomb I have nothing to compare it to!

Do you happen to have the book “Tacos - Recipes and Provocations - A Cookbook” by Alex Stupak? Or anyone on that has picked up Vitamina T? Mosca or SheilaAnn
I should just buy Vitamina T so I can have both, but just curious if anyone can provide a comparison of the two. I know Vitamina T is more than tacos looking through a sample. Thanks all.

I have both. The style is different. Provocations is more instructional, T is more conversational. Both function well as “idea mines”. T is more fun, but that might be my perception upon just having started it. I’ve had Provocations for a while.

Book will be delivered tomorrow morning. I enjoy the Alex Stupak book so much, and love that Fermin is also in so many episodes of the Taco Chronicles series on Netflix…this is one cookbook I will add to the collection!

Ha! I don’t buy cookbooks much…only if it hits what I truly enjoy cooking. This may be another that I pick up. Let me know your thoughts on Mi Cocina compared to Vitamina T. It would be my third book in this category, which, isn’t a bad thing.
Mi Cocina isn't just about street food, it's kind of an overview of Mexican cooking organized by region. It's got molé recipes, Sonoran style carne asada, and a Kung Pao Pulpo recipe that's absolutely killer. I've barely gotten into Vitamin T, though.
