I ran across this young lady’s site awhile back (https://savorandsage.com/) and made her pot roast. It may have been the best pot roast I have ever made. I made some changes of course - I used Carnivore Black on the roast and Hardcore Carnivore Amplify on the veggies before I added them. The recipe is here: https://savorandsage.com/classic-pot-roast. There are more good looking recipes on the site.
Next time I think I’ll let it get some smoke before braising it.
Currently own:
Weber 22 and 26 Kettle.
Regular gasser with rotisserie.
Custom built horizontal stick burner.
Custom built duel fuel "whole hog" cooker.
Many other tools of the trade.
Her photography is fantastic, needs to up the size on those cursive headings though... I also really appreciate how quick it is to scroll to the actual recipe. So many websites you gotta scroll multiple pages before you actually get to the recipe.
Anyway her peanut soup and smothered chicken just got bookmarked to revisit at some point. Thanks for sharing!
ItsAllGoneToTheDogs and others….I have found that within the last few years, almost all recipes now have a box near the top of their recipe page that says…..Jump To Recipe. If you click on it, it takes you straight down to the beginning of the actual recipe, as hers does too.
Panhead John a lot of sites still don't jump straight to the recipe or worse, produce a popup first (only a few sites have done that but it better not be a growing trend)
I have a Hasty Bake that I won right here on Amazing Ribs ! Also have a pellet grill but the HB is the best for daytime BBQ. Like my Thermoworks chef alarm and heat resistant gloves.
That's a beautiful pot roast ! The carrots and ..well, all of it looks amazing. I'm going to try this one asap. Thank youvery much for posting KLFlowers .
