        Very nice score.

        My experience with older bbq cookbooks is that (consumer level) bbq knowledge was all over the place, and contradictory, for the longest time; about 25 years ago started to unify around the themes we know today; underwent an explosion of changes, transitions, and revelations; and is now solidifying as a set of basic principles that a cook can apply various devices and techniques to achieve.

        That cookbook would be right at the beginning of the bbq explosion. I’d love to hear any insights.

          Have not gotten into recipes/procedures yet.
