While I prefer paper for cookbooks (don't ask me why, 'cause I don't know), $1.99 was too good a deal to pass up, especially since I have a lot of RG beans sitting around right now...

I buy my daily reading sort of stuff on Kindle. But for cookbooks, it's either physical and paper or it's Paprika ..... and I often print the Paprika recipes to actually cook from them.

Just bought the Kindle version. Basically "free" since I used rewards points to pay for it.

I never got into beans. Tbh, I am not a big fan. It is pretty cool to see how many people are into cooking them and all the different varieties out there.

I first noticed it when we were doing Secret Santa a few years ago, a lot of the gifts were these beans. It was the case this year as well. Pretty cool to see.

For the December team cook, I used Cassoulet, Royal Corona, and Black Caviar lentils.

I agree with Steve Sando; freshness is key. And keep initial prep simple.

I love actual books! I use kindle for mostly travel reading time.

BUT, I will say that this book is pretty darn nice!

My grandfather used to sell his fat cattle at the Omaha stockyards. When he had a rail car or two, he would ship by train, and ride in the caboose. Would take 2 suitcases; one with clothes, one empty. There was a used/new bookstore nearby where he filled up the empty suitcase. He died in 1957, leaving many books.
