If you don't know who Goodboy Noah is, and you like music (and don't mind a little inuendo and light language)... search him on youtube or whatever. His schtick is Noah doesn't know how to do anything, but he has a friend (a puppet) Cheetah that (almost always) saves the day. Cheetah sings or raps the cooking instructions and then Noah makes whatever. I think it's a great introduction to cooking for a large demographic, it's entertaining if you already know how to cook. Some skits are better than others, and he's had some pretty big name guest appearances as well.

I think more people complain about Noah talking with his mouth full sometimes than they do the inuendo or language. But, this is your final warning before getting to the link.

Anyway, he's releasing a cook book. I'm not expecting anything mind blowing, but I'm always down to support talent I enjoy.

Cool that he’s got a book. My friend sends me his videos from time to time, it is pretty entertaining.

Yeah, he's starting to get more adventurous too. His Indian one is a banger for sure and a country and Spanish skit are both pretty decent.

Well it arrived today. It's pretty much what I expected, a collection of random recipes with only a handful I'll even try. However, I will say that I'm impressed with the number of ethnic entries. Lots of Middle Eastern and European offerings, quite a few vegetarian options as well. For the average target audience who generally won't cook anything more adventurous than a box of hamburger helper, this could be a great opportunity to expand their horizons and maybe one day even a few of them will end up in our great community!
