Looks like Steven Raichlen is coming out with a new book, Project Griddle.





I wonder if this will be the book that will finally push me over the edge to getting a Blackstone?

Interesting that the title, appropriately, returns to his Project Smoke/Fire format. It is unclear what this means for his, hopefully, upcoming PBS show. For both Project Smoke and Fire, the books were companions to the shows and each show went multiple seasons. At the moment, we've only had one season of Planet Barbecue. I wonder if that will continue with that name, change, or this might be the first "Project" book to not be directly associated with a show.

I suspect it will be available in early summer.

REAL Smoke and fire touching the food is where it’s at for me.

Interesting that a griddle book would be telling us to “take your live-fire cooking where it has never gone before”. …. Huh?
