Seriously, lotta science there I did not know about. I know more about Heinz from documentaries. Think “The Food That Built America”.

But I still don’t want it on my hot dog or burger 😜

It is interesting to realize that the only thing I seem to use ketchup on is french fries. Well, and on the few occasions per year that I eat fish sticks out of a weird desire for childhood nostalgia, I'll mix ketchup with Worcestershire sauce. But that's it.

Its just too sweet for me.

We have switched to the Heinz "Simply" ketchup. This one states, "no artificial sweeteners". (no high fructose corn syrup)

I've done the same. In some sense, sugar-is-sugar, but the Simply Ketchup just has that 'small batch' feel to it.
