Hungry.tv is a streaming service that airs many of the cooking shows that aired on PBS and the FoodNetwork in the 1990s and 2000s. Names like Sara Moulton, Martin Yan, Julia Child, are often streaming. They company behind it seems to buy up the rights to shows shot in standard definition that would never be re-aired today.
I discovered they now have a YouTube channel so you can watch some shows on-demand. I've been really enjoying watching Steven Raichlen's Primal Grill, which aired in 2008, on there. It can be a little jarring to watch. Primal Grill was only his second series (after BBQ University) and it is a little bit less polished. Still, recipes are recipes and I've already picked up a few new-to-me ones that I want to try. (And....you do need look away when he does the poke test or soaks entire logs in water lol.)
Here's the YouTube playlist link: https://www.youtube.com/@HungryLive/playlists
They don't have all of the episodes, but a good selection of them. Incidentally, I've also found one can watch season three of Primal Grill in its entirety for free on Philo: https://www.philo.com/player/player/...Tk2NDg1MTI5MzE
