This is the most ridiculous and gimmicky idea ever....and I still think that.....but....it's kinda creative in a way:

This two-minute video is an ancient informercial for a cookbook made out of parchment paper. You rip out the pages and place the ingredients on the diagrams. It's described in the video as "coloring with food." Here's an example screenshot:

You then fold up the parchment paper into a pouch and put it in the oven.
Obviously, the repeatability of this is a major problem. I suppose one could photo the pages and just use normal parchment paper for the subsequent times. They sorta address this in true informercial-style at the end in which "the deal keeps getting better! We'll send you a second book, free!"
I can see it being fun for kids, and points for originality, but otherwise.....it needs to stay confined to the late-night infomerical era of the 1990s.
