Came across a cool show this afternoon - Barbecue - Life of Fire. Specifically, Season 1, Episode 10. Santa Maria style sirloin steak.
This episode is a cool dive into the California contribution to the BBQ culture. Worth a look if you're interested Santa Maria style bbq.
I found it on YouTube TV, on the Tastemade channel.
The series is like many others, the host travels to different regions to explore local bbq. Watched a couple other episodes, and the were all well done and very informative.

I just watched several episodes of this show on YouTube TV. I really enjoyed it. Each episode is a different item cooked and everything is cooked over live fire. The conversations about how BBQ was prepared over a century ago is very interesting and has sparked me to get back into reading about BBQ history.
This is a great follow up if you have read the host Pat Martin's book Life of Fire.
