    Salami Chips

I ran across this this morning. I have not done this, but I thought it was a cool idea. You take salami slices and bake them in an oven (pellet grill?) at 375 F for 15 minutes until rigid.

You now have salami "chips" that you can dip into grainy mustard.

For anyone on keto craving a potato chip, there you go.

I’ve done this with pepperoni, cojack cheese, pepperjack cheese and cheddar cheese before but never salami. Something new to try.

My first thought was pepperoni. Maybe the large sandwich pep from the deli almost shaved.

Here are some photos of cooks I’ve done with cheese and cheese and pepperoni.

This was with mozzarella and pepperoni. These didn’t get too crispy but they were delicious.

I'm gonna make some of these today for watching football. Crispy cheese is awesome. Why don't you post the recipe? 😂

Bkhuna parchment paper works the best. They don’t get as crispy with a silicone pad.

I gave this a try. They turned out okay. I went a few more minutes than I should and some 'burned' notes started to creep in. (Granted, I also used cheap Oscar Meyer hard salami.)

Michael_in_TX if you enjoyed the Salami Chips you could go to the next level with processed meats. Not sure if you’ve ever heard of the Bologna Bowl? Not quite the same but awesome nonetheless.
