    Who wants to try this?

I ran across this in the YT rabbit hole. I'm intrigued. Are you?

Note to Mods. I was going to put this in 'Recipes', until I read the 'read first' post. It was so intimidating that I defaulted to 'Discussion'. So, if this belongs in 'Recipes', it's your own damn fault I didn't put it there and you can move it. :-)

Well, you got pork, potatoes, and onions, with salt, pepper, and paprika. Then you have your soy/ketchup/honey thing going on.

I can pretty much imagine what that’s going to taste like, it will be pretty good. The part with the skewers and the wrapping, though? Too much work, for me. I’d just do a pork roast with the potatoes and onions around the edges.

That's a fun cook that is no doubt delicious. I kept thinking there needs to be some apple slices in there.

It seems organization here in our forum continues to be confusing and/or irritating to some. I hope I can summarize the thought processes here.

A video (recipe or not) pertaining in some way to food (thus on-topic) should go in Cookbooks, TV Shows, Videos. Why? Because if someone is in the mood to watch informative or entertaining videos, or learn about cool TV shows, Cookbooks, etc, they can scan through that channel to find them.

If you want to post something in Recipes Only, as the title itself describes, it should be only a recipe. A list of ingredients and instructions that someone could print, take to the store, buy the stuff for, tape it to their cupboard door and make it.

If someone wants to talks about food, ask for a recipe, talk about changing a recipe, an ingredient in a recipe, etc, that's not a recipe that's food discussion, and wouldn't belong being posted in Recipes Only.

We get a lot of members emailing privately and complaining that it's hard to find recipes. We developed the Recipes Only channel in order to help such ones be able to go to one place and scroll through only recipes, not talk.

If you typically find yourself accessing The Pit via the Recent Posts link, you may be less worried about specific channels. Maybe you do not visit specific channels so it's not a thing to you. But to those who do visit us that way, we want them to find what they want easily by keeping things as organized as possible. It's not a perfect system, for instance where do you post a sale on Hasty Bake? In Hasty Bake, or in Specials and Deals? Well, some things straddle 2 channels equally, but most times we can find what fits a topic the best.

            I hope this clarifies it.

Since you did yours on the grill, would you mind sharing some details? Temp, cook time, marinade, etc.?

(I know I'm not asking in the Recipes forum, so don't want to get anyone in trouble. But I'd love to cook this on the grill for my crew here)

bunky2021 I took the easy way on this one. I had some really thinly sliced pork chops from the grocery store. I marinated them overnight in a bottled teriyaki sauce. Added some black pepper and garlic powder to our taste. Then stacked on the vertical spike alternating chop, pineapple slice, repeat to the top. Then on the Recteq until done at an IT of around 150 or so I think. I think I had the cooker running at about 250? It’s been quite a while and I don’t remember exactly. But that’s pretty close. I don’t think it makes a lot of difference really. Anyway, very easy and very tasty.
