    Apicus (Latin- On the subject of Cooking)

    My wife TJ picked these up at a used bookstore, have not spent a bunch of time reviewing but, there some interesting spins on lamb that I might delve into and any recipe that starts with " a slab of pork belly" gets my attention pretty quickly.

    Evidently, Marcus Gavius Apicus put the original "book" together back when Tiberius ruled the Roman Empire

    I will share more if/when I give some of these offerings a shot.....

      Yeah I was going to mention that Fish Sauce is a common ingredient....

      Not sure about the other guy but evidently its extinct!!!
