Not sure what the big deal is here. I make Spam and eggs in one form or another at least once a week. Don't need Gordon Ramsey to show me how to do it. But I did notice he uses a ton of butter and heavy cream in his eggs. So maybe I did pick up a tip or two to try.
Its funny. He is almost certainly right on this one but i generally disagree on the scrambled eggs. I love gordan ramsay but i want my scrambled eggs beaten hard first to get some air in them. I season them right before they go in the pan not half way through as he states in multiple videos. I also hate when scrambled eggs have visible parts of the white. Scarred from childhood when my dad would make french toast that ended up having those white parts on it that tasted way too eggy
I manage email security for a large university. During the pandemic, when we were doing everything at home, I had several cans of spam stacked behind me so they would be just in view of my webcam.
Everyone in IT who knew what I did thought it was clever and decently funny; however, when I did Zoom calls with people outside of the university and outside of my professional context, I sure did get a lot of, "Um, before we go....can I ask....why do you have five cans of spam behind you?"
