I’m on EP 4. So far so good! The episode in Chicago is right near where my dad grew up. It was a Polish neighborhood then (wondering if I have Mexican family by marriage). My point is the San Antonio episode. I’m just a few minutes in and a Profesora Emerita dice “…. dish with chile, meat and beans….” See, there is beans in chili from Texas. Oh wait…. Is there a difference between chile and chili? (I know there is, I just wanna stir the chile pot) 🤣🤣🤣

I’ve watched through the Chicago episode. As with the other two seasons, I’ve enjoyed this season as well. It’s neat to see that many of the guests on the show are able to get that feel of home, with so many not having the opportunity to go back home.
And for chile……If you are in New Mexico…you better spell it with an “E” or there’s gonna be trouble.
and there are no beans in chile in New Mexico either….New Mexican food and chile, beans are served on the side.

I finished the series today on the plane. The Octopus al pastor!!!!!!! Oh my!
ha - this series was so good, the guy next to me on the flight tapped my arm and asked if I was a chef since I was watching food shows the entire flight
he said he was hungry after seeing some of the food that was on there! I watched Los Angeles, Phoenix and Dallas today. All great!
