Guga, of the popular Guga Foods and Sous Vide Everything YouTube channels, is coming out with his own cookbook: "Guga: Breaking the Barbecue Rules." It will be released on April 23, 2023. It is published by DK Publishing, which is known for their high-quality cookbooks, especially the photos. (Same publisher as Joshua Weissman's book.) Pre-order price is $32.

Guga, if you're not familiar with him, is well known for his extremely high production quality videos featuring "insane" experiments with steaks -- many of which turn out quite good!
I'm probably going to preorder this book for his side dishes. In all of his videos, he always includes a remarkable side dish. While the steak experiments might be a bit out there and things one would not do oneself, the side dishes are legit and the few that I have made have been outstanding.
Furthermore, it is hard to find the side dishes on his channels as they are buried in the videos and not referenced in the titles, so in this "why would I buy a cookbook when the videos and recipes are all online?" era, this is a good answer to that question.
I'm sure his BBQ sections will be a little Meathead-esque in that he does get down to the heart of technique in his videos, although his style doesn't necessarily allow him to highlight it as much as he'd like I'm sure. One thing I've always admired about him is that he is able to consistently turn out perfect steaks (and on common equipment, such as the Weber Kettle).
And, finally, we learn his real name: Gustavo Tosta.
