This is a fun, good series if you've not checked it out. it's Jon Favreau (of Marvel directorial and other fame) and Roy Choi, the guy who started/popularized Korean tacos with Kogi BBQ in LA. They go around to various, very different places to cook with a loose theme. There are a couple of episodes with Aaron Franklin, but there's also a fun episode with Chad Robertson of Tartine Bakery fame, Christina Tosi, David Chang and others.
The episode are informative, Favreau is a good amateur chef who seems genuinely enthusiastic about cooking and the episodes are 25-30 minutes, perfect bite-sized looks at a theme.

I spend like $140 a month on DISH and the ONLY channels I watch, quite literally, are The Cooking Channel and Food Network. Not a damned thing else do I care about.
