I just got a complaint email a few minutes ago saying the newsletters are useless, 'full of only ads, help for newbies, and food porn'.
Ads? There's no ads, just announcements of new programs like the new 30-day trial setup for your friends.
He wants to see more interesting things or he's going to unsubscribe. This from a member who hasn't posted anything himself since joining 2.5yrs ago, and hasn't logged in to participate in the semi-annual Pit newsletter survey I post for feedback. I nicely replied that if he'd like something that's of more interest to him, then he's highly encouraged to post something of interest himself, and perhaps I can use it in the next issue. I reminded him he hasn't posted anything, and I can't use what's not posted here!
Therefore, to all of you who DO post great content, THANK YOU! And to all of you who don't complain useless complaints, THANK YOU!

Thanks fellas! I appreciate the thanks and all your wonderful posts. The newsletter would be MIGHTY boring or even nonexistent if y'all didn't post what you post!
And an apology for the cool posts that I just missed and didn't see and therefore didn't include. I can't literally read EVERY post and I surely miss a lot of really cool things- recipes, stories, photos, etc. So keep up the good work and please don't be offended if something of yours didn't make it.
I got ya 6 Huskee...I absolutely enjoy the Newsletter. it's very informative, educational, something you may not know about that MIGHT make you say ( i never thought about that) of course this is coming from a Rookie, Georgia Rookie 903 that is...LOL Keep up the great work and dedication

I try and post every month how much I appreciate your efforts. I sincerely do. Thank you sir. As Spin said, there is a tremendous about of serious quality food going on. As far as that ...... person is concerned. You need to take the high road as you did. Toe that line my friend.
I'm really new here so I don't really understand the goings on yet. With the few BBQ forums I cruise I post what I post. You can either like it or not, I like it either way. One thing I have learned is if you don't participate you have nothing to complain about, you're just riding on everyone else's coattails.
I really look forward to this news letter Huskee. So many great cooks being highlighted each month, along with the Bonzey win!! Made for a special month !! Keep them coming. I look forward to our family continuing to grow and flourish!!!
Huskee This is a GREAT community! When I'm away I miss it. And the newsletters that I get via email keep me connected sometimes when I'm not as active as I would like. Thanks for what you do!!
I struggle with that while scouting for, saving, doing occasional minor edits, and placing the pictures in the template. Make it hard to keep to a sensible diet while viewing all the food.
