My EX6 has lost its mind

Today of all days, cooking ribs, pastrami and a point. Got the point on, ran to the store and got a low temp alert. Ran home, fire was out. Reset everything, fire lit but temps ran away. Lit the bronco for backup while I try to figure this out.

Join the club. Super Bowl Sunday had wings all prepped to smoke on the Yoder. Pushed start came back 15 minutes later and nothing happened. Igniter died of course. Was able to get it lit with my small torch and all was well. Hope you get it figured out.

I think the root cause was fire went out, but the auger kept filling the burn chamber. Once I got it to start again, there were too many pellets in there already. A full shutdown & restart seems to have worked but I trust this thing less and less. No way I can do an overnight or unattended cook.

Luckily I did see when I opened up the burn chamber to remove a bunch of pellets.

FYI I think I figured it out. I had inadvertently plugged it in to the cord for my leaf blower, which is `100' of 16 gauge wire. probably not enough volts/amps for the ignitor. I swapped that for 25' of 14G and it is now taking off like a rocket. fingers crossed.
