I never thought I would own a pellet pooper. We have had our LSG 42 stick burner six or seven years now. About a year and half ago, DW's mom passed away and we were gifted her old Traeger. First pellet pooper I have used. Cleaned out the ash and it fired right up. Something that does need replacing is the 'burn pot.' Large hole on one side of it and small holes in other areas. She is not letting me buy the LSG 42 pellet pooper until this Traeger is dead. I have tried to identify how old this unit is. I see no data plate of any kind. The cooking chamber is roughly 20x24. Curious if you all could give me an idea? Is the burn pot replaceable? Parts available? Thank you.

Smoke daddy makes some universal replacement parts and some targeted upgrades, there are a few other companies for popular brands but be very wary of scams

SnS 22" kettle, 22" WSM with Pit Viper, 36" LSG pellet pooper
24" Blackstone griddle, 6 Gallon Cajun Fryer.
50K BTU wok burner.
Sadly once the burn pot goes, the whole unit is dead. You're only option is to replace the whole thing with a LSG pooper.
At least that's what I'm thinking.
A friend of mine has a Smoke Daddy pooper, so I know they are a legit company. They have a generic upgrade kit that may or may not put new life to your old Trager. Probably worth giving them a call or shooting them an email.

I'll tell you this - I had a Traeger BBQ124 and had to replace the pot. I got one on Amazon and had continual flameouts, all the time. I went ahead and got the real deal Treager one and that problem went away. When I compared the two, the generic one had just SLIGHTLY different air holes in it - I think it may have had two extra ones down low or something? Either way, it didn't work.

I have a Traeger of roughly the same vintage. I recently replaced my burn pot with one from Traeger. Not a difficult replacement if your igniter rod isn't rusted in.

stoews1979 Thank you for commenting on the vintage of this unit. Is it possible for you to determine what model this is or the age?

DuckinBBQ mine is a Lil Tex (BBQ070) which they manufactured in Oregon I believe from 2000ish-2013. Yours looks the same to me but I'm not an expert. I received mine as a gift in 2006.
