    Recteq 1300?

Any info about this model, such as does it deliver the goods to justify it's cost?

It appears to be. I'm just surprised they didn't have it marked down from $8,524.99.

I have a Recteq RT-700. It’s about five years now. It’s been rock solid for me. See my avatar. I haven’t really paid attention to the cooker line in quite a while. Man, the whole lineup has changed! And the prices have gone wayyyyy up too!! That 1300 looks sweet but has the high price to show for it. 🙄

Anyway, sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. I only commented because of my shock over the lineup and price changes since I bought my unit. 🤷‍♂️

Not familiar with it. Good brand with a good reputation. You could save money with a comparable product.

Other brands are not a consideration at this point since my oldest son has a son has a new 300 sitting on a pallet waiting fir him to get the cabinetry together to mount it in. But, thx to all that responded anyway.

$8534.99? Jerrod is try'in to give me a coronary!

I might try and see if cheaper models with the legs removed might still work effectively versus paying a premium for the “kitchen” version.

I didn't ask my son how much he paid, but the grill lists for $3500 on the Recteq website. Then he threw in a stainless fridge that also mounts in the stainless frame of grill cabinet. Lotsa shiny stainless, and probably lotsa shiny bucks to get it home.

If you want to confirm after the fact that it is a solid smoker, you are right. Customer service is fantastic, and the smoker does great. It is more expensive than peers, which is usually the rub, but there is no question regarding its ability to turn out great food.

Thanks, you hit what I wanted to know!
