It's been a long time since I posted anything. I want to say that if there is one flaw with the Reqtec RT-700 it is the lack of an upper shelf. 2 years ago, I thought I could solve that with a small stand-alone rack they make but it really wasn't big enough. So last Christmas I received the large rack, and it is exactly what the Dr ordered. If you have a desire for more space, get the large one. It is great for ribs, flat bread pizzas, jerky and more. Sorry for the messy looking smoker, the foil needs to be changed!!

Yes I got the big extra rack when I bought my 700. I don’t use it often but when I need it, well, I need it! Glad I have it. 👍

Jfrosty27, I also have the smoke box. If you don't have that I would highly recommend it. I'll pre-smoke some foods to get them started then finish on the grates. It was way worth the money.

DavidNorcross it’s much better. Thanks for asking. The swelling has gone down but still sore and still black and blue. But better none the less.
