    Todays efforts

    Soooooooo - nothing on my calendar in the way of appointments or activities; what to do. I know - smoke something. I haven't done salmon in a while and the new season is just around the corner. I better reduce the pile from last year. Don't cha know.

    I thawed out 8 fillets and dry brined them for about 2 hours.

    Then I coated them with some no name Salmon Rub with a few sprinkles of brown sugar.

    Then they went into the smoker at 180 degrees and took a nice warm, smoky bath for about 3 hours.
