This looks to be a killer smoking tool for meats AND fish. I'm replacing my CC Woodwind 24 after 5 seasons and have missed the convenience of multiple racks for doing smoked salmon and trout. I do a lot of fishing and catch LOTS of kokanee salmon and mostly rainbow trout with a few Lake Trout pups thrown in for good measure. I'm also partial to ribs (beef & pork), pulled pork, and of course, brisket. And doing an occasional pastrami is good for the soul as well.
I don't see any references here to this specific model, so I'm reaching out to any members that may have some first hand knowledge or experience with the Pit Boss 6 Series Pro Elite 1529-Sq. in Stainless Steel Pellet Smoker. It appears to be specific to Lowes, so getting one is easy (5 miles to my nearest Lowes). Plus, I get a 10% military discount there. And free assembly is available for this item; us OLD farts can use all the help we can get.
